About us
Brand history
The idea didn't start with a business plan — it started with an observation. People who came for treatment could handle the illness, but got lost in the organization around it: an unfamiliar city, a foreign language, fear of the procedure, and dozens of small questions with no one to ask. The clinic treated teeth or joints, but no one was responsible for the person as a whole.
That's how the idea took shape — not a medical center, not a travel agency, but a personal guide who opens a trusted path to Ukrainian medicine for the foreign patient. Hence the name: Dr. signals medical rigor and competence, and Concierge captures the philosophy of personal support that takes the unnecessary off a person's shoulders. The warm arc in the logo remains a symbol of a smile — a promise of outcome that needs no translation.
Mission
To make Ukraine a recognized, safe, and trusted world-class medical tourism destination, and to build a trusted path to Ukrainian medicine for the foreign patient.
Vision
To become the national leader in inbound medical tourism to Ukraine — a single gateway through which a foreign patient reaches the country's best clinics, and through which Ukraine presents itself as a medical destination.
Why we exist
Ukrainian medicine offers a level of quality comparable to European standards, at a significantly more accessible cost. The real problem a foreign patient faces isn't treatment quality — it's not knowing whom to trust here, how to choose a clinic, what to sign, where to stay, or how to communicate.
Dr. Concierge exists to remove that barrier. We do not treat patients and do not give medical advice. We are responsible for making sure you reach a vetted clinic, understand every step, and are never left alone with an unfamiliar system.
In medical tourism, few parties take full responsibility for the client. Clinic directories earn a fee on every click-through to a partner's site, regardless of whether that clinic actually suits the person. A typical agency's job ends the moment the client boards the plane, leaving them alone with an unfamiliar country's healthcare system from there on. Dr. Concierge starts from the opposite point. Only clinics with a valid license that have passed an ISO 22525 compliance review under the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine's methodology enter our partner network. That bar — not an advertising promise — is what determines who we recommend.
Dr. Concierge is not a tour operator or a medical facility. Whoever actually carries out a part of the trip is responsible for it. The clinic is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment. The tourism partner is responsible for accommodation, transfer, or excursions. Dr. Concierge is responsible for making sure all these parts come together into one coherent itinerary, with nothing falling through the cracks along the way. Payment for treatment always goes directly to the clinic, payment for concierge services goes separately through the company, and the two budgets are never mixed in any agreement. That separation means we have no incentive to push more expensive treatment — we recommend a clinic based on what suits the person.
Who is responsible for what
The Clinic
Establishes the diagnosis, prescribes and performs treatment, and is fully responsible for its outcome.
Dr. Concierge
Organizes the trip — clinic coordination, accommodation, transfer, interpreting and support — and does not interfere in medical decisions.
How we choose partners
We are responsible for the organization of your trip, not for medicine. So the only way to stand behind the outcome of that organization is to work only with partners who share our quality bar.
We work with clinics that hold a valid license, disclose their terms transparently, and confirm compliance with medical tourism quality standards. Every partner, medical or tourism-related, passes a review and accepts our Partner Code of Conduct.
Compliance is assessed using international medical-tourism approaches — including the ISO 22525 standard and the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine (NTO.UA) methodology, while clinics also work toward the ISO 7101 quality-management standard. That gives a single, verifiable bar instead of a subjective judgment call.
In every partner agreement, payment for treatment and payment for concierge services are kept separate and never mixed: the clinic is paid directly by the client for treatment, and Dr. Concierge is paid separately for organizing the trip. This removes any conflict of interest in which clinic we recommend or what treatment direction we suggest.
